Believe to See the Goodness of God Here and Now (Psalm 27:13)
Manifestation of what we have been believing God to do will be realized and embraced because of our faith. That thing which was hidden and unseen finally will be visible for us to see and experience. In addition, when our actions line up with our faith, we can confidently expect for things to happen even more.
When we break down “manifestation”, we end up with the verb form, “manifest”, which means to make visible, obvious to the understanding and not difficult to be seen or understood (Webster). In Hebrews 11:1, faith itself becomes the evidence of the things we are hoping for while waiting for whatever it is to manifest.
Sometimes manifestations are quick and other times they can take a while. Regardless of how long it takes, we must keep our faith active. I mentioned earlier that our actions should be in alignment with our faith; therefore, what we do can move us along in a positive way as we wait patiently. Looking at the word “manifest”, a few scriptures came to mind that can encourage us while we wait.
Manifestation: Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
2 Corinthians 2:14
Assurance: Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:22
Newness: Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19
Increase: May the LORD give you increase more and more, You and your children. Psalm 115:14
Favor: For whoever finds me (wisdom) finds life, And obtains favor from the LORD (emphasis, mine). Proverbs 8:35
Endurance: For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. Hebrews 10:36
Success: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8
Truth: My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. I John 3:18
If we meditate on these things and interweave them into our everyday lives, manifestation may come sooner than we expect. Be expecting to see…!
